Always wash the scarf or shawl in cold water – never wash it in hot water, and avoid warm water if possible

If possible hand wash the garment, or use a gentle cycle on your machine. If you use a regular cycle on your machine you risk stretching or distorting the shape of the wool fibres

Use a detergent designed for wool, or a baby/soft detergent. Using a harsh detergent can not only fade the colours, but it can also destroy the natural wool fibres
NEVER spin dry – always drip dry!
