2005 Pommard, Clos des Epeneaux, 1er Cru, Comte Armand, Burgundy spirit Antonio Galloni (November 2024)The final blend has not been put together yet but we have a good approximation of what this outstanding wine will deliver. Benjamin has decided to follow the vintage and make use of the abundant tannins, resulting in a massive, marvellously structured wine which may well last 50 years. It displays a daunting amount of fruit right across the palate and a colossal tannic backbone. Rarely have we tasted a wine with this amount of drive and energy. Drink
