New Years Day Morning in Denver Size:11"x14" As I made my way

As I made my way through the park I had plenty of runners and bicyclists pass by and approaching the center of the park I noticed this cyclist pass as the employees who rent bicycles started to bring items out for the day along this sweeping path

I was able to stand in a recently paved area which was still closed to traffic and capture this image

I noticed the shadow from the bridge to the bay below and stopped to photograph this scene as a boat emerged from under the bridge

Depending on the weather in the next couple of days this scene could be quite different come midweek

This is once again a car but by looking at a smaller piece

New Years Day Morning in Denver Size:11"x14" As I made my wayFor the first morning of 2014 I headed out to photograph the skyline of Denver as I have done the past couple of years. This morning there was a system which was moving through which prevented a colorful sunrise as we have had the past couple of years. It was still nice to get out and watch the first morning of the year start with Denver as a backdrop. As I left the location some snowflake were present as well.
