Seeing the snow start to fall on Saturday evening

The forecast was for some active skies overnight with the Northern Lights and with the clear skies the past few days it was a must to go and check them out

I also zoomed in to the holiday lights and played with the focus to get the above effect for the image

Afternoon at Sloans Lake Size:8"x10" Seeing the snow start toI headed to Sloans Lake for some afternoon light on a November afternoon. First stop was photographing the skyline across the lake with a steady breeze blowing. Prior to leaving the lake I checked out some other areas and found some tall grasses backlit blowing in the wind. Letting the sun wash out some of the scene I photographed these with a hint of the Rocky Mountains in the distance prior to the sun dropping behind the mountains to end another day
