We have left the piece unpolished to retain the original antique patina

the cobalt enamel lines show natural rubbing from use over two centuries

adding to both beauty and practicality

The box is in very good condition - it has some damage to one of the feet

There are some graphite rub marks on the paper but these were likely made by the artist during the sitting - top left and bottom right corner has a crease -overall the perimeter is a little ragged but this could be trimmed back - to be clear this is two drawings
