Vintage Trifari Sterling Jelly Belly Fly Brooch, Alfred Philippe Design, Lucite Cabochon, Gilt Silver, Clear & Red Rhinestones, 2" L 2 Vintage Givenchy Felted bottom with a stickerIconic Trifari Jelly Belly fly brooch designed by Alfred Philippe in 1943. This is a fabulous collector piece in good vintage condition. The fly is anatomically sculpted from gilded sterling silver and features a clear lucite cabochon abdomen, red jewel set eyes, and rhinestone accents on the inner wings and thorax. The brooch is fastened with a diagonal safety pin and has been hallmarked 'Trifari' and "Pat No. 137200" on the back of the left wing.
