Then look again, knowing that you are seeing part of a wall painted almost 2000 years ago in the Roman city of Pompeii. These manmade fragments survived the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 CE to be moulded and weathered by sun, rain and wind ever since. We are part of nature, and nature is part of us. Part of my Roman series.
