There is a tiny hole that was drilled on the underside of the giardinetti behind the garnet (presumably to allow light to pass through the stone)

The piece features a silver topped on 14k gold lizard with a textured body topped with pearl accents

This antique ring (circa 1880 1900) features a band of 10k gold and a moonstone cabochon which was a later replacement. The ring is currently a size 9. 25 but can be resized free of charge. The face of the ring measures 0. 4 inches by 0. 5 inches. It is in very good condition with a slight asymmetry to the mounting of the moonstone visible upon very close inspection.
