Tapestry Colour Studies: Mark Hearld and Dovecot Studios, The Cockerel 2025 #1 COLOUR STUDIES Elisabeth worked with the RoyalIn 2024, Mark Hearld was invited to Dovecot to take up a month long residency on the weaving floor. This proved to be an exceptionally creative time for Mark, seeing him produce multiple large scale works. These collages were inspired by the scale and colours of the studio and included his trademark iconography from the natural world.
