I took the time to explore its beautiful gardens

They are so soft and fluffy looking and they're one of the few desert plants that don't have thorns

Painting them is a great way for me to use restraint with my color choices in order to not overly complicate the look of the painting

Lost in Florence 24x30 inches Bouquet I arranged them in aThis painting is of me, my dog, Paulo, and my husband, Tino, on our honeymoon exploring the lovely city of Florence, Italy on a rainy day. This dreamy scene is based in reality, however some things I altered. I deleted all the people that were surrounding Tino and inserted myself and my dog sitting on the steps in the background. I think it made the painting more interesting and mysterious. What do you think? Oil on Premier Cotton Stretched Canvas.
