Chatelaine - Florentine Baskets This one features a whiteOur Chatelaines are cast here in our shop in lead free pewter, and are finished by hand. The chatelaine clips onto the waist of your petticoat or apron and has 5 chains 6" long with lanyard clips to keep things securely attached. Measures 3 1 2" wide and about 1 3 4" high. Chatelaines were worn to keep handy important items such as keys, watches, magnifying glasses and sewing supplies (scissors, beeswax, charms and thimbles). Townsend Made. Made in
