With a layover in Kodiak I was to fly out in the early morning to a remote island to photograph Kodiak bears for a week. As it so happened when I woke the next morning Kodiak was totally fogged in cancelling all travel for the day. At first I was quite upset at the prospect of loosing a precious day with these magnificent animals. However, the
