Migration 6 - Departing bedroom This painting was a finalistOne of my Migration series of paintings. The sea represents memory, passage and transience, recalling my childhood migration to Australia. The streamers, a common symbol in each painting in this series, signify broken ties with family and homeland but like memories, linger long after departure.
