This pair of fordite cabochons is made from fordite from lower Michigan from a manufacturer who paints parts for new vehicles mostly one and a half ton trucks

I paired this with a natural leather cord that is 20 inches in length

The chain is 20 inches in length and is also solid silver

The bands are both hand hammered and I added some hand stamping to the size 8

The fordite measures about 25 mm tall
