Imodium 8 capsules throat La Roche-Posay Lipicar stick APImodium is used for sudden (acute) diarrhea. It thickens stools and reduces its frequency. Imodium capsules are for adults, adolescents and children from 6 years. Dosage Adults and adolescents take 2 capsules at a time, then 1 capsule after each loose stool, up to 8 capsules per 24 hours. Children from 6 years of age take 1 capsule first, then 1 capsule after each loose stool. Never exceed the maximum recommended daily dose per kg of the child's body
