Sunshine on an Iceberg Size:24"x36" The times I have stood

The times I have stood in front of Harpa it never is the same

In the last week or so the fall colors around the Denver metro area have been peaking

and on this evening I ran into the full moon rising over the mountains

a flock of birds flew into the frame for a few seconds which I was able to capture

Finding a nice angle I captured the peaks of the canopy as it rose into the threatening clouds of the day

Sunshine on an Iceberg Size:24"x36" The times I have stoodSailing past this iceberg the pure ice really stood out to me. As an iceberg melts it starts to change its disposition in the water based on the mass and how it is balanced. In this iceberg you can see some of the results of that shifting with the line of difference between the top and bottom. At that point there is also the clear ice which will sometimes happen at the water line or in this case where the water line was recently.
