The ring dates to the year 1900 but the combination of gemstone colours suggest it was perhaps altered overtime and worn in support of the women’s Suffrage movement which took place in the early 1900s and famously used these three colours to highlight their key virtues: Violet for Royalty

It surrounds a beautifully detailed floral centrepiece, depicting a butterfly hovering above a rose, both accented with applied rose, yellow, and green gold.
