This listing is for an attractive Kyo ware chawan made around 20 years ago by noted potter, Yoshizo Asami IV. It is wheel thrown and the front and interior of the bowl is decorated with hand painted momiji leaves. The grey background colour is actually transparent white glaze combined with the reddish brown colour of the clay underneath.
