It has one map showing most of Germany, but it is not very detailed. It advertises for other more detail regional maps. It folds closed like an envelope. The outside says "Shell Reise Dienst Deutschland ist Schn!" (Shell travel services Germany is beautiful!) Closed, it measures about 8 3 4" by 4 7 8". Opened, it measures 28" by 17 1 2" It is in overall decent usable
