It was made under the creative direction of Roy Halston. From what I am aware the dress was made in three colour ways. This green and gold version, a blue and gold, and a version that has a deeper gold and more brown feeling combination. It is from his main couture line and these would have been primarily made to order during this time period. This is an amazing couture Halston dress
