c.1972 Pauline Trigere Graduated Green Dots on Bias Cut Silk Dress designer-hollys-harp This huge and wonderful silkThis is a beautiful example of Pauline Trigere's work during this time period. The dress comes from its original owner who provided the approximate date that she purchased it. We also found a reference photo from the 1972 runway presentation that year that shows that dots were indeed the theme of that season. Trigere was a master at cut and often fitted garments directly on a model. She was also very hands on and the construction of the dress shows
