c.1960-63 Jean Patou Beaded & Sequin Black Velvet Jacket designer-annacat Just the process of zippingI am almost certain this is Karl Lagerfeld for Jean Patou. The design on it is very reminiscent of some of his later work at Chloe and even work for Chanel now. That would date it to 1960 1963. It is a gorgeous little piece that has crisp, tight lines and is quite beautiful. The base of the jacket is a cotton velvet that gives it a deep matte black finish. Onto this is that incredible design. Gold glass tube beads are hand placed into vertical lines
