The two piece set consists of a top that can be worn as a top or layered as a light jacket and a long skirt that has a beautiful cut bias cut and draped detailing

To be honest if the full tag was present I would mark it higher in price so you are getting a steal

The sleeves follow this same tapered shape as they reach the cuffs

For the date -  I found a reference to the illustration as attached done by Annana Teramorsi with the same print and dated 1984

1980s Oscar de la Renta Dot Dress designer-suzy-perette Through photographsEven though this is a dress that was probably produced in the eighties and has lots of those eighties elements (dots and gathers anyone?) it still has those classic Oscar lines that make it timeless. His master touch makes it perfectly eighties, but in the best possible way. It has a bit of the forties feel to it but with his classic understated way. It is made from a black silk crepe with those fantastic large white dots scattered over the surface.
